Carving Out the Areas
There are four rules you must follow when planning the tracking Areas in your location:
- FastSensor accuracy is one square meter (roughly 9 sq.ft), therefore, we recommend areas not smaller than 2 x 2 meters (6 x 6 ft).
- You must plan a bleed space of one meter (roughly 3 ft) between Areas to avoid overlapping (see the light green area in the drawing below).
- Use the Group to sort the Areas belonging to the same section or zone.
- The system will automatically measure the walk-by traffic passing in front of the location, up to 50 ft from the sensor.
